Splash Survivors — Privacy policy
Last updated: 8 October 2026 · applies to Splash Survivors for Android (Google Play)
1. Who is responsible
Splash Survivors (“the game”) is published under the name auton by:
Felber PatrickFriesstrasse 18-20/22, 2540 Bad Vöslau, Austria
Email: hello@auton.at
2. The short version
- The game collects, sends and shares no personal data. It does not even have internet access.
- No account or sign-in, no advertising, nothing to buy inside the game, no analytics, crash reporting or tracking.
- Everything you do in the game stays on your device.
3. What the game stores on your device
So that you can continue where you left off, the game saves in its private app storage on your device:
- your progress (gold, shipyard upgrades, the boats and seas you opened, badges, the Captain’s Log),
- a voyage in progress, so it can continue after the app was closed,
- your settings (language, volume, steering, vibration and similar options).
This data never leaves your device through the game. If your device’s own backup (Android backup) is switched on, your device may include it in your personal backup, which you and your device’s provider control, not us. Uninstalling the game deletes this data.
4. Buying the game and the free trial
You buy the game through Google Play, which may also offer a free trial before you buy. Google handles the payment and the trial; we never see your payment details and receive no personal data from it. Google’s privacy policy applies: policies.google.com/privacy.
5. What the game does not do
- No access to your location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos or files.
- No advertising identifiers and no third-party software that collects data.
- No sharing or selling of any data.
- The only Android permission the game uses is vibration (for the vibration setting).
6. Children
The game is made to be enjoyed by players of all ages, children included. Because it collects no personal data, it collects none from children either.
7. Contacting us
If you email us, we use your message and email address only to answer you and delete them when the matter is closed, unless the law requires us to keep them (legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection; just email hello@auton.at. As the game holds no data about you on our side, there is usually nothing for us to look up. You can also complain to the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Datenschutzbehörde, Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, www.dsb.gv.at).
9. Changes
If a future version of the game changes how it handles data (for example by adding online features), we will update this policy before that version is released and change the date above.
